College football season is now a wrap, the National Football league’s current season is nearly over and the boys of summer don’t start warming up for a little while, so meanwhile, ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, is bringing back its flagship college basketball program next month.

College GameDay Covered by State Farm returns next Saturday, January 20.  Its first broadcast of the season will air in advance of ESPN’s Saturday Primetime presented by AT&T.  No. 21 Kentucky faces Florida at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN in the season-opening broadcast of that program.

Rece Davis returns as the program’s host.  Davis will be joined at the desk by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams.  Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas and Maria Taylor will have the call for next Saturday night’s game between the Wildcats and Gators.  Next weekend’s broadcast will be the seventh visit to Kentucky by College GameDay Covered by State Farm, tying Duke and Kansas for most visits by the program.
