Ashland to Release “Wildfire” on March 17th!

February 17, 2017 by: Shauna O'Donnell

Ashland is a rock/pop outfit from Central Illinois. The band formed when vocalist Asia Woodward met guitarist Aaron Wood through a local Craigslist ad and began writing songs together. In the fall of 2014, they entered the studio with producer Matt Amelung (won Best Recording Studio by Riverfront Times) and recorded their debut EP Interim. Since it’s spring release in 2015, Interim’s leading single “Eyes To The Sky” has been streamed over 20,000 times.
Since their inception, Ashland has been a tireless live act playing an enormous amount of shows across the Midwest and booking DIY tours every chance they get. They have shared the stage with countless local bands as well as national acts such as We the Kings, Breathe Carolina, The Ready Set, This Century, Firehouse, and Switchfoot.

In 2016 they returned to the studio with Matt Amelung and began work on their first full length record, Wildfire. Slated for a 2017 release, they plan to accompany the record with an incessant amount of touring.
