Beginning April 13th you will be heading out on the nationwide 2 Nights LIVE Tour” with Creed. Congrats on that! Sounds like a great time. Will you be touring in places you have not yet been?

There are a few places we have not visited for quite some time such as Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Syracuse and Kingston, NY. All of them are destinations where we have fans and they have been waiting very patiently for our return.  We are very excited to be coming back with this tour playing these amazing venues.  Also, we are getting the opportunity to revisit California, Texas, and Florida, places we don’t get a chance to rock very often.  All I can say is it’s on and we are going to bring it every night.

Have you decided which songs will be on the setlist yet?

Our setlist for this tour will contain songs from all three of our full length albums, BANQUET FOR A STARVING DOG, QUEENS TO EDEN, and AUBURN SLIP. To name a few songs that will be there every night are “Run Your Mouth”, “Reach”, “Gift”, “2 Pills”, “No Regret”, “Banquet For a Starving Dog”, and “Faultline”.

What is one thing that you take on tour with you that you absolutely cannot be without?

My Motorola XYboard Tablet.

What do you do to keep from getting bored on the long drives between gigs?

I play guitar and work on new song ideas developing material for the next album.

You also just got added to Rocklahoma this year. Is this your first year playing the festival?

It is our first year playing and we are totally honored to be part of Rocklahoma.

What festivals have you played in the past?

We have been part of numerous radio festivals such as Band Camp and Taste of Madison in Wisconsin for WJJO, also played Sturgis last year opening for Drowning Pool at Full Throttle Saloon.

The band also just released your new single “Reach” on iTunes and Amazon. This is your second single off the album Banquet For a Starving Dog. You have a lyric video for the song, will you be filming an official music video for it soon?

We are in the process of deciding on a treatment for a video for “REACH.” I know that it will include a lot of live footage that will be shot on the upcoming Creed tour.

Do you prefer the live performance videos or do you like the ones that have stories or concepts?

I personally have always enjoyed live performance videos. I think that is the best advertisement for a band’s live show.

What is the song “Reach” about?

“Reach” is a song about making the decision within one’s self to do what’s necessary to overcome and accomplish one’s most cherished dream or goal in life.

How many singles will be released from the album? Do you anticipate more?

At least one more depending on the continued success of “Reach.” There are possibly two more.

Which of the songs is the best overall representation of Eve To Adam’s sound?

I think that the title track of the new album “BANQUET for a STARVING DOG” encompasses all of the sonic dynamics of this band in a concise and driving manner.

I watched some of your videos and it appears there is a lot of emotion that comes out of you when you sing. Do you feel that emotion seems to be lacking in some of the music that is put out there by other bands today?

Well, with the advent of so much technology in modern music, I do believe that much of the emotion has been drained out of the performances on a lot of albums today.  We try to maintain a balance of modern sound in our songs without allowing the emotion or human aspect of our performance to suffer or be nonexistent.  This is always a challenge in a recording studio, because the temptation is to want to overtrack, overgrid and autotune every vocal and performance to achieve perfection.  Unfortunately, sterility is a byproduct of this kind of perfection always leaving the listener wanting for something more.  So it’s a tightrope walk of knowing when to stop and just allow the music to breathe.

Thank you so much for the interview. Before I let you go was there anything you’d like to add or say?

Just want to say thank you for the opportunity to speak with your audience and I hope that you get a chance to see us live, because that is truly the best way to experience the power of EVE TO ADAM.
