“Twisted. Tied Up. Tangled.”

Combine Pat Benatar, Avril Lavigne and a touch of Shania Twain and you get a good clue as to what the amazing vocals sound like on this great band. Add in tight performance and production of the instruments and you get an extraordinary band. Don’t get fooled though that band sounds anything retro or cookie cutter. They have created their own sound and with this CD they prove that they own that individual sound quite well! With a great combination of rock and just the right amount of musical variety, they make each and every song something intriguing to listen to from this album.
“Burnt Around The Edges” is a great tune that is certainly worthy of being a radio single and showcases the bands talent with a rock and pop feel that is worth many listens.”Dead” has to be one of the standout tracks on the album for the perfection in tempo and a sultry vocal that matches the melancholy feel of the tune. Not a down song at all but rather one that just expresses an emotion through music and lyrics exceptionally well. “Tangled” give you a clue as to the versatility of the band and their music. Much more up tempo, it give you a taste of their ability to do a full on rock song that has strong vocals that match the music. They even throw in a definite southern rock twist which makes the band all the more interesting to listen to. “No” follows their versatility by slowing things down and doing a power ballad that is chocked full of emotion and the music and lyrics that match perfectly. “It’s Alright” gives another facet to this band with a song that could easily be a crossover to the rock/country genre and again is another tune worthy of being a single in a couple of different genres.
It is hard to decide as you listen to the album which song you like the best and whether you like the slower sultry songs or the pop sounding faster tempo tunes or whether it is that full on rock sound that is the favorite. I tend to think they all are favorites for different moods they evoke while listening and also for the quality of the band and their album. Just buy the CD and discover for yourself why they have such a great following of loyal fans. You won’t be disappointed at all!
